As United Methodists we believe that prayer is foundational to our daily walk with Christ and while we have our set routines and conversations with God, He does promise that when two or more are gathered in His name, He is there. What an awesome promise and opportunity to cast our cares on Him.
Every Wednesday between 5:30 and 6:30 our historic prayer chapel is open to all who desire prayer. We will be humbled by the opportunity to pray with you, or perhaps just listen. If you have just a minute, or an hour we would love to be blessed by your prayers and your presence.
"Sunday's in the Chapel" we are able to pray with you from 9:30- 10:30, during our Small Group time. If you are not able to come by just let us have your prayer request card and be assured that as we lift your requests to God we do so with sensitivity and reverence.

This prayer movement serves as a response to the Council of Bishops initiative for Praying Our Way Forward. Together, let’s be in a posture of prayer for the church, where we are all praying for God’s leadership to guide us effectively in fulfilling the mission of the church. We invite you – clergy, laity, congregations, and small groups across the denomination to pray for God’s guidance.
In prayer, we can be one in Christ.
In recent months, the bishops have committed to pray daily for the work of the Commission on the Way Forward. It’s time now to launch a second phase that involves the whole church. This is set to start January 1, 2017, with the help of The Upper Room, our church’s prayer partner. Check back soon. We will be building a website that will feature many tools and resources to help individuals, local churches, and annual conferences pray our way forward. If there is ever a place where we can be one, it’s in the space where we meet God.
